Thanksgiving Blog Hop: November 6-7 2010

Welcome to our Thanksgiving Blog Hop Second Day Event. Today is Sunday November 7, 2010.
Don't forget to stop by at AmyShttp://digi-scrap.blogspot.com/ to start from the beginning...

I got this idea from Michaels Facebook page. This pumpkin is done just by cutting 6 strips of 12 x 12 paper at 1". Spread your strips like a star and add a brad in the center then start gathering them around shaping it like a pumpkin and add another brad on the top.

Here is a close up of the top of the pumpkin. I use the Design Calendar Cartridge to cut out the leafs, title (Thanksgiving) and the clove for the stem. The Accent Designs Cartridge I cut out the green swirls.

I cut the title from a glitter red paper. I ink the edge of the dark green stem using the Tim Holtz Distressing Ink.

I cut a 3" cirlce and glue it on the bottom and added red leaf around the pumpkin. This could be use for your Thanksgiving Decorations as a Place Card Settings with your guest name on it.
Thank you again for stopping by and checking out my creations.. dont forget to leave a comment.
