I have been working on this wreath for about a week and I finally finish and very proud of how it came out...Love it..

Started out with a Dollar wicked branch wreath and glue down my flowers...
I cut my flowers out of lunch paper bags. I use the Accents cartridge using image scallop flower and cut at 2 3/4". The total count of how many flowers I use was about 151. I inked both sides with Tim Holtz Distress Ink: Vintage Brown and Brick.

My tag was cut out at 3 1/4" with cereal box and added a felt on top. Also using the Accents cartridge and the title Home and Family was using Home Decor at 1" and equal sign was from Sanferi Font. The last touch I put a rhinestone on the i using I-rock tool.

Thanksgiving Blog Hop: November 6-7 2010

Welcome to our Thanksgiving Blog Hop Second Day Event. Today is Sunday November 7, 2010.
Don't forget to stop by at AmyShttp://digi-scrap.blogspot.com/ to start from the beginning...

I got this idea from Michaels Facebook page. This pumpkin is done just by cutting 6 strips of 12 x 12 paper at 1". Spread your strips like a star and add a brad in the center then start gathering them around shaping it like a pumpkin and add another brad on the top.

Here is a close up of the top of the pumpkin. I use the Design Calendar Cartridge to cut out the leafs, title (Thanksgiving) and the clove for the stem. The Accent Designs Cartridge I cut out the green swirls.

I cut the title from a glitter red paper. I ink the edge of the dark green stem using the Tim Holtz Distressing Ink.

I cut a 3" cirlce and glue it on the bottom and added red leaf around the pumpkin. This could be use for your Thanksgiving Decorations as a Place Card Settings with your guest name on it.
Thank you again for stopping by and checking out my creations.. dont forget to leave a comment.

Thanksgiving Blog Hop: November 6-7 2010

Today is Saturday November 6, 2010 and is our Thanksgiving Blog Hop Two Day Event... if you just found us hop on over to AmyS @ http://digi-scrap.blogspot.com/ to start from the beginning.

You should of have arrived at my blog from Bugaloohttp://designsbysharon.blogspot.com/

Here is my creation. I decided to make a calendar using the Design Calendar Cartridge.

I purchase this cartridge since last year and never used it, so that's the reason I follow the directions from the handbook, it was easy...
The cardstock is from Bazzill Basics Colors. The actual frame is cut at 8 3/4 x 9" and the insides calendar frame is cut at 5" and the numbers @ 1"..

I skip on the number 17 because that's my birthday and decided to put a flower(was looking for a sunflower) and also 23 because that's my husband and put a heart on it. I layer on top of the #25 Thanksgiving saying on it. All the numbers I put crystal effect and stickles and the flower is from K&Company, heart is just a sticky foam from Valentines, I colored it in with a Bic Sharpie Red.

The side images were cut @ 2" and is the October pumpkin and November pilgrim hat. I use stickles to color in the pumpkin: orange and the hat black and gold. I love the glittery paper my non-secret pal Michelle send me. Is a glittery orange and use it to cut my title.

Here is another look at My November Calendar on my buffet table... Thanks so much for stopping by today and don't forget tomorrow for our second project. I hope you enjoy the blog hop...now head over to Mandy @http://mandys-scrap.blogspot.com...
I will post my blog candy on tomorrow post, so dont forget to sign up if you would like to follow me and also leave a comment on both post. I will pick the winner on Friday November 12.

School Spirit: Red Ribbon Week

My daughter school is doing the Red Ribbon Week for Drugs. This is to get in the spirit of saying no to Drugs. Today Wednesday she needed to wear some silly socks, so I decided to make my own silly socks. I use the Hello Kitty Greetings and cut out Heart and Sun at 1 3/4" using the Reynolds Freezer Paper as a template. I used fabric paint colors they are red, black and glittery rose/pink. I was not able to figure out how to use welded words in the freezer paper as template, so I hand written the words out. I also use the I-rock tool to bling the eyes for the heart and sun face.

Kids Craft: Halloween Monsters Wreath

This has been my favorite cartridge Mini Monsters. It makes the layering easy. I use wood sticks or popsicle sticks, Hot Glue to put together the shape of a hexagon. Cut out 2" of spider web using the pumpkin carving and DS to do the title in a rectangle shape instead of a square. I just attach orange ribbon in the back to hang in a door..

Friday's Cook-Out Recipe Book (Weinberg Elementary)

I made 28 mini recipe books for my daughters class this year. One of my daughter's classmate parents volunteer to do the cook out every friday. They would make french toast with bananas, smores, mud pudding, etc. I made all these books including the insert out of cereal boxes. I had the teacher ask the parents to donate empty boxes to the class. The teacher donated the pattern paper that I use for the inserts and tabs and rest I donated. I use for the title the Mickey Mouse Font and DS to weld the letters together. I also use the paper dolls #1 and #2 for the girl and boy chef clothing. The face was stamp from peachykeens everyday faces 4".
Click on each box for a close up of the image

I use From the Kitchen cartridge to cut out the inserts and tabs. Also the titles of each tabs were beverages, dessert, breakfast, appetizers. Some of the inserts I use Design Studio to weld the title on the side but I had trouble with my cricut and cereal boxes, so at the end I welded the letters and cut out on solid cardstock or use stamps for the title. The recipe card were type on the Avery templates on the computer. Some embellishments like the marshmellows and chocolate and tea cup were done with George and basic Cartridge my own creations..

Cake Pop Treats

I finally wanted to try and make these cake pop. You can purchase this book either at amazon here is the link http://www.amazon.com/Cake-Pops-pb-ebook/dp/B0041VXGRS/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1286569746&sr=1-1. They are easy to make and the flavor I got from these are like the Animal Cookies with the sprinkles on it when you use the melting candies from wilton, here is the link http://www.wilton.com/store/site/product.cfm?id=3E310A5F-475A-BAC0-513EBB4AAC195A7E&fid=3E32DFEA-475A-BAC0-51B68534387FF8B9
I melted some chocolate and roll each ball in there using a spoon. After the cake ball is cover with chocolate get some containers fill them with sprinkle candies of any kind and roll cake balls to be cover with candy and put them back in the cookie sheet pan and place them in the refrigerator for the chocolate to be harden. This is the finish product and they are yummy.... the velvet cake taste great with the semi-sweet chocolate...

The top picture here is when I use the cake crumbs and frosty together (mix it up) and roll it up as a ball and place them in a cookie sheet pan and put them in the refrigerator to set them.

I use the cupcake wrapper Cricut Lite Cartridge to make a witch wrapper 2 1/2". The solid paper is from wasabi shinny purple and the pattern one is from K&company spookatcular. The tag is from the Pumpkin Carving solution cartridge at 2" and put the cake pop in cello bags..
